Changes and Opportunities at Campbell Hoffman
Campbell Hoffman Foundation is delighted to announce the election of new officers for the 2008-2010 term. They are: Kathie Westpheling, President; Don Harris, Vice-President; and Thomas W. Greeson, Secretary/Treasurer. Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective and strong commitment to access to health care for the underserved in our community.
Campbell Hoffman also announces the departure of its Executive Director, Lyn Hainge, effective Feb. 27, 2009. Ms. Hainge has been appointed Assistant Division Chief, Health Department, Arlington County and will assume those duties in March, 2009. The Board thanks Lyn for her leadership during the past two years and for her dedication to the mission of the Foundation to improve access to quality health care in Northern Virginia. Her commitment and expertise are greatly valued throughout the region's health and philanthropy communities.
In light of these changes in leadership as well as current market conditions, Campbell Hoffman is taking this opportunity to assess the current needs and conditions of the region's health care "safety net" and determine how the Foundation can have the most appropriate and effective impact on the well being of the community. Additional information is expected to be available later this year.
